The Fordland R-III School District has an opening for a Full-Time Cook at both campuses. This position will be from approximately 6 a.m. until 1 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
Some qualifications include, but are not limited to, the preparation and serving of food in a school setting, being able to lift 50 lbs, and demonstrating aptitude or competence for assigned responsibility. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to keeping time records, assisting in the preparation and serving of all food in the cafeteria, maintaining safe, proper, and efficient use of all kitchen equipment, maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen, preparing food according to a planned menu and tested, uniform recipes, and determining if the finished product is of best quality both in flavor and appearance before it is served, assist in the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment and the washing and sterilizing of all dishes, silverware, and utensils, participate in the cleaning of kitchen, serving, and storage areas, and other such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Director of Food Services or principal within the scope of this position.
